Nunca desista! Eu posso afirmar que o omalizumab/xolair e uma dieta sem histamina trouxeram qualidade de vida pra mim! Eu estou muito bem! A urticária transformou a minha vida e para o bem! Eu consegui descobrir através desta doença, que no Brasil não temos adrenalina autoinjetável e isso me motivou a separar um tempo, todos os dias, para ajudar na conscientização dos riscos da anafilaxia e na luta pela liberação da adrenalina autoinjetável. Hoje, eu administro o Grupo Anafilaxia Brasil, no facebook, junto com uma médica, que se tornou uma grande amiga, e sinto que, realmente, estamos conseguindo colaborar na conscientização dos riscos da anafilaxia. Eu já tive muitas crises de anafilaxia por causa da urticária, mas com o tratamento adequado eu não tenho mais. Descubra coisas boas, busque um olhar positivo, porque, apesar de ser muito difícil a doença, talvez ela transforme positivamente a sua vida como ocorreu comigo! Temos que ter esperança, eu sempre tive. Temos que manter alegria, apesar das crises, eu sempre mantive...Eu nunca pensei em desistir! Não desista! Ich leide seit 2 Jahren unter Urtikaria. Ich habe viele Sachen getestet. Allergietest usw.. ich nehme zurzeit 2-mal täglich Antihistaminikum. Das hilft bei mir, aber nicht so lange. ich werde nicht aufgeben!! Kann nur noch besser werden.

I got off xolair after one year regular treatment 2 months ago and my hives have come back so much worse. Start injections again tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I was diagnosed with cold urticaria when I was 12 years old. I am now 37 and the disease has continued to be a part of my every day life. Living in canada our winters are cold so avoidance is my main form of controlling it. Swimming out doors or skiing are things I can no longer do. Had this condition for over 20 years. Many times daily. Have always searched for answers. Finally realized getting more tests or asking doctors is not going to do anything except cost more money.

Began eliminating things from my diet. Many times I thought I found the culprit, but symptoms returned. I accidentally found my "cure". I have been mostly symptom free for about a year now.

Through a series of eliminations I have confirmed that the reason for my symptoms lies in my consumption of Vitamin D. I no longer use multivitamins, vitamin D suplements, nor do I drink milk, which is enhanced with vitamin D. In addition I cover my skin and use heavy sunscreen outdoors when sun is strong. After a longer exposure to strong sun I can still have hives, especially at pressure points where my clothing touches my skin. I believe the natural production of vitamin D in the body during sun exposure is responsible for this. After a couple of days those go down and I feel better.

can anyone help me how to cope with this my only appointment with any dermatologist is February 2017

The only help or relief is taking steroids.

A very effective medicine is called "evastine" which instantly for about 3 quarters of the day

I have been living with UIC since 2011 when I first started college. I have tried many medications. I started Xolar in 2015. In August 2016 I stopped getting Xolar injections and my UIC went away and just came back last week (July 2017). For 11 months I finally felt like I had my life back. I was about to run again, I was able to run 3 5ks and started training for a half marathon. Right now my training is put on hold due to my breakouts reoccurring. I was seeing Dr Foster in Denton, Tx but I was tired of the way all the medication made me feel so I quit taking everything. In the last week I have only broke out during work outs and once after a shower. I am starting a histamine restricted diet next week after completing a week food diary to track changes.

I have this condition for about two years and each day is getting worse.... before never felt itch but now is every days an the itch is moderate to severe. To tell the truth I do not know what to do, I used to take loratadine and sometimes when the trache closed I took dexametazone ... now nothing calms him. Please if someone knows what I can do or what method to use let me know I will appreciate it a lot. Thank you.
